The bottom line

embody is a strong choice for affordable, doctor-prescribed GLP-1 treatment - and an honest one to recommend, because its record is public: flat $69-$119/month with everything included, free 1-2 day cold shipping, LegitScript certification with US-based 503A pharmacies, a full refund if you're not approved, and 8,398 Trustpilot reviews averaging 3.8 whose recent pages consistently praise the customer-service communication. The realistic caveats: it's compounded-only and injectable-only, there's no coaching layer, and a 3.7 means not every experience lands well.

For someone who wants the lowest-friction, no-commitment way to start GLP-1 treatment at a transparent price, it's one of the strongest offers in our ranking - compare it directly in embody vs wellmedr and altRx vs embody before deciding.

embody offers doctor-prescribed GLP-1 weight loss treatment - compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide injections - through a 100% online process. Getting started takes a roughly 5-minute health qualifier, after which a medical practitioner reviews your chart (embody says usually within 24 hours, often under 5).

Pricing is flat and simple: $69/month for semaglutide and $119/month for tirzepatide, with no insurance required, no hidden fees, and no clinic visits. Medication ships in 1-2 days in temperature-controlled, tracked, insured packaging, and embody is LegitScript-certified and works with US-based 503A compounding pharmacies.

On Trustpilot, embody averages 3.8 across 8,398 reviews - an honest, mixed-to-positive record whose recent reviews cluster around two themes: responsive, proactive customer service ('from my very first inquiry I've had excellent communication... customer service updated me every step,' writes one tirzepatide patient) and the no-surprises pricing ('Love the fact that there are no surprises as in costly up front cost'). A 3.7 also means a minority of customers had negative experiences - worth reading both ends of the reviews before deciding, as with any provider.

Is embody legit?

Yes - embody is a legitimate, US-based telehealth weight-loss provider. It's LegitScript-certified, works with US-based state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, and connects you with state-licensed doctors overseen by its own medical director.

  • LegitScript-certified telehealth provider

  • Transparent flat pricing - $69/mo semaglutide, $119 tirzepatide

“Legitimate” here means a real, licensed telehealth operation - not a guarantee of results. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved brand drugs. Always confirm current details and eligibility with the provider.

Shipping delays kill score

“I will give them a 3 for how easy it is to sign up and understandable questions. Also the medical providers are friendly. What keeps this from being a 4-5 is the shipping delay. First dose said 3-5 days and I got it in 8 days. I'm now on my second dose, money taken out of my bank 2 weeks ago and I'm 3 days past my medication taking day. This is 8 days after my new dose was approved by a N.P. that I had a video chat with. I'm sure this will affect the weight loss!!”

Dismal customer support with errors

“Signing up is easy. Provider called, payment was issued and medication was shipped. It was when I was charged for something I did not ever get that things went very sideways. Customer service answers without checking full history, they provided multiple texts and emails, all from different people, all saying something different. I paid for something over two weeks ago that I did not get, and each person I talk to says "no refund policy" (didn't ask for one) or that I already got the medication. So if you want initial service with no ongoing correct follow up, this is the provider for you.”

What Reddit says about embody

Beyond Trustpilot, recent Reddit comments about embody paint a consistent - and usefully unvarnished - picture. These are excerpts from real public comments:

r/r/compoundedtirzepatide·u/thegoldstandard55·13d agoView on Reddit

Embody is great if you don't need to actually talk to anyone. But if you are okay getting the default and starting from the beginning they are great. I used to get Sema from OrderlyMeds and after 1 year and stalling and feeling not so well I quit, then over 5 months I balooned up 20. So I found embody and their new low price for triz and was okay with starting at the 2.5 (or slightly lower because of the b12).

The med check was quick and I was approved same day, got my vial in just one week. Now 3 weeks in they bumped my dose to 5 (or 4.2) and shipped it out already. When I do the check in they will decide if I stick with 5 or go to 7.5 following month. But yeah if I wanted to get 10 from the start that may not have been possible. Everything is on autopilot, that's how they keep costs low.

I just switched to Embody from NativeMed. I haven't received my scrip yet but the process has been good so far. I placed my order on Monday, dr approved it Tuesday, it shipped today (Thursday) and scheduled to arrive tomorrow. And they matched my last dosage.

2
du/dreamy-lover

Hi, do you have an update you can share? I was planning on purchasing, but decided to look on Reddit first. Do they send the vial with liquid already mixed in? Also do they send needles?

Mu/MsButterflyStarr

They sent two small vials and 6 needles with alcohol wipes. Everything is ready to go, I just pull 98 units, so almost a full syringe (15mg)

r/u/Comfortable_Whole343·2mo ago

I started about a month ago and so far so good. I think they revamped their program cause web med is sponsoring them from what I read. $129 for all levels of tri and no contract and I already moved up my dosages with no issues or kick back. They have been very prompt with responses and mail. My promotion also says if I lose nothing or not satisfied that refund is given.

5
Au/ArtisticSalamander16

How do you submit a refill. I just did my third shot and was told to reach out to them for my next fill once I hit the third. My dashboard doesn't show me a message option though or refill request option. So I'm confused.

Cu/Comfortable_Whole343

Try texting this number [support line] this is how I ask questions and complete my monthly check-ins for refills.

Cu/Cherryvanillas

You can email them [support address] or text [support line]. Let them know why you're reaching out and they'll help you from there. They've always been quick to respond to me and very kind and helpful. You can schedule appointments with providers through email or text too if you need your dose increased. There should be a monthly check in form in your portal as well that you fill out at the end of each month regarding how everything's going with your GLP1.

Cu/Comfortable-Song8606

The kind and helpful responses are AI. No ability to help. Just nice words like “I understand your frustration.”

r/u/SaltAvocado9500

“Nurse called me today asking have I taken the shot and if yes have I experienced any symptoms.”

Ordered on 8/6, medication delivered 8/14 - with a clinical follow-up call after the first dose.

r/u/Next_Sector_7726·6d ago

“I got Sema from Embody. I got my order within a week of being approved. They did overnight shipping.”

1
r/u/Comfortable_Whole343

“$129 for all levels of tri and no contract - I already moved up my dosages with no issues or kick back.”

r/u/LondyRocks

“Arrived the next day from the pharmacy. Packaged nicely with ice packs.”

Three vials at $129 each; the honest catch: about two weeks between approval and the medication actually shipping - transit itself was next-day.

r/u/TheseFrosting6548

Order sat at the pharmacy for a couple of days - then, after a comment on embody's Facebook post: “they contacted me right away... rushed my order. I had it next day.”

“They just billed for the 2nd month - the amount is correct.” Gripes: the pharmacy premixed an anti-nausea ingredient without asking, and the 50-unit doses were larger than expected.

r/u/Maybee77

“No complaints.”

The takeaway: The community picture matches the Trustpilot one: delivery is fast once medication ships, dose changes go through without pushback, and the model is deliberately self-serve - 'everything is on autopilot, that's how they keep costs low', as one user put it. The honest watch-outs are the flip side of that: little human contact, a refill process one user had to ask Reddit about, and pipeline time between approval and shipment - if timing matters, order before your current supply runs low. The $129 figures Reddit users mention line up with embody's regular tirzepatide price ($119 promotional / $129 regular).
